The Coast Guard says DPB is a Deployable Pursuit Boat, which is kind of cool.

According to New Zealand, DPB is the Domestic Purposes Benefit, but in spite of great footage for Lord of the Rings, New Zealand doesn't matter.

According to Jay Bird, DPB is a Database Parameter Buffer, but we care even less about them.
